Coming SOON!!

So, I thought I would jump on the band wagon! Etsy... here I come!! I am officially opening an Etsy store. I have been selling a few things here and there and crafting for fun, but I figured hey, why not try to make a little money at it too! I have listed a few things in my store, just to see how it is all done and everything, but I am planning on having an "OFFICIAL" opening after I get some "real" products made. Look for the official announcement in about a month! Feel free to check out what I have so far, but please don't judge... like I said... we are not officially "open for business" Wish me luck ;o)!

Silhouette

This is the gift I made for the grandparents for Grandparent's Day. They LOVED them. I think I may have to make one for me too! The total cost of the project was about $4.00 a piece. Not too shabby if I do say so my self!
This is what I put on the back of the plaque. Yeah, it in nearly impossible to get a good handprint of a 10 month old. But hey, it is the thought that counts, right?

Ruffle Butt Onsie and Custom Bow Holder

Yay!! SO... my best friend did have a little girl!! SO... of course I had to make one of these adorable onsies to go with the little shoes!! You can find the tutorial here . They are so easy, and so freakin' cute, I couldn't make just one. I can't wait to see how adorable she looks in it!
The friend that I had made to birth announcement block for contacted me today and asked if I could make her a matching bow holder. So, I gave it a try... I think it turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself :-)

Adorable cloth baby shoes

My best friend's baby is due any day now, and we are waiting to find out if it is a boy or a girl... but, if it is a girl she sure will look cute in these little shoes :-)!! I better whip up a boyish pair too, just incase :-)
I used this pattern which was SOOOO great!! Lots of pictures, and super simple to follow!! I think they turned out pretty cute for my first attempt.

Quilt squares, burp cloths, and a *NEW* foot :-)

One of my latest little crafting projects have been these cute little burp cloths that I made from this tutorial. They are supper easy and turn out really cute :-) I actually used a pack of flannel receiving blankets that I got as a baby gift when my son was born that were un-opened for the fabric.
I just LOVE the soft fuzzy edges
And, these are the quilt squares I have been working on. I can't wait to put this quilt together!! I am still trying to figure out exactly how I want to lay it out...
It is the Moda Arcadia fabric. I really like the patterns and colors. I used the "disappearing 9" method to make the squares. I love how easy it is to get a pretty neat looking block.
OH!! I can't forget this!! My new darning foot!! Now I can try my hand at machine stippling!! I am SO excited!!
Here is one of my practice swatches... It is really fun!!
